How Do Companies Communicate Sustainability? A Systematic Literature Review

Sustainability is a topic that increasingly discussed in society and organizations, leading many companies to adopt communication strategies focused on this theme. The objective of article was identify the literature ways, means, or tools use communicate sustainability. This based systematic review topic, resulting final sample 18 articles from 14 different journals. Seven potential topics were identified review: (i) strategies, (ii) relationship between consumer behavior, (iii) health benefits, (iv) sustainability corporate social responsibility (CSR), (v) sustainable business models, (vi) process optimization, (vii) environmental impact. results obtained allowed us conclude can are as follows: new technologies (internet, networks, websites, etc.), make value propositions behaviors, disseminate clear consistent information, ensure broader work teams, among others. These contribute advancement scientific definition implementation more efficient effective public policies facilitate consumers. Finally, paper offers practical suggestions formulate strategies.
