How Coach Educators Deliver Formal Coach Education: A Full Range Leadership Perspective

While recent work recognizes a need for coach education to place greater emphasis on interpersonal knowledge when developing coaching expertise, it is our position that educators (CEs) must follow similar trajectory in embracing the requisite of their role and move beyond reliance content professional order shape delivery. To better understand CEs’ behaviors, authors observed four experienced CEs Alpine skiing, using an adapted version Coach Leadership Assessment System during delivery assessment course. The also interviewed further elucidate observational data. findings suggest benefit transactional approaches leadership set against backdrop environment driven by intentions consistent with transformational leadership. Furthermore, we call appreciation context imagining behaviors align effective practice.
