Abstract Background More than three hundred thousand hemodialysis (HD) patients exist in Japan. The average of vintage Japanese was longer Western country. Longer and older tend to have various complications be hospitalized treated by departments. However, the clinical management practices for HD inpatients are not well-known. In this study, we investigated national university hospitals Methods questionnaire-based survey conducted among specialists 42 Japan via online correspondence or letters.
