Hospitality management in times of crisis: a corporate social responsibility perspective

Purpose From a hospitality and tourism perspective, the purpose of this study is to analyse case Jordan by looking at implementation corporate social responsibility (CSR) practices in industry their contribution management pandemic crisis, with special focus on large hotels. Design/methodology/approach The method focuses qualitative based ten in-depth interviews senior managers five-star hotels Jordan, fully used as quarantine facilities during COVID-19 pandemic. Findings reveals how why CSR contributes crisis also highlighting role hotels’ organizational cultures. Originality/value Drawing from unique best authors’ knowledge, first which analyses close relationships between impact cultures ethical strategies local stakeholders.
