چکیده
This paper aimed to study the value of horse manure through anaerobic digestion. The involved characterization different components waste and evaluation their biochemical composition, physicochemical influence composition on methane potential. More specifically, two bedding mixtures were studied: first one was composed wheat straw (WS), wood chips (WC) (HM) with a volumetric 85%, 14% 1%, respectively; second mixture WS HM 99% respectively. analysis carried out each substrate separately 406 samples from May 2017 October 2019. Biochemical potential tests conducted these showed that structure influenced BMP. had highest mono-digestion production 176.1 NmL·gVS−1. (99% WS, 1% HM) 189.4 NmL·gVS−1 compared 127 by 1 (85% WC, HM). difference due dilution effect caused presence WC rich in lignin.

Fermentative hydrogen production from agroindustrial lignocellulosic substrates
To achieve economically competitive biological hydrogen production, it is crucial to consider inexpensive materials such as lignocellulosic substrate residues derived from agroindustrial activities. It is possible to use (1) lignocellulosic materials without any type of pretreatment, (2) lignocellulosic materials after a pretreatment step, and (3) lignocellulosic materials hydrolysates originat...
متن کاملMethane production on thickened, pre-fermented manure.
Over 9 million dairy cows generate an estimated 226 billion kg of wet manure annually in the US. The purpose of this study was to demonstrate the viability of a novel two-stage anaerobic digestion (AD) process for producing methane-rich biogas on pre-fermented dairy manure. In summary, it was observed that AD of thickened pre-fermented manure can generate comparable biogas quantities to AD usin...
متن کاملXylooligosaccharides Production, Quantification, and Characterization in Context of Lignocellulosic Biomass Pretreatment
Oligosaccharides, also termed sugar oligomers, refer to short-chain polymers of monosaccharide units connected by a and/or b glycosidic bonds. In structure, oligosaccharides represent a class of carbohydrates between polysaccharides and monosaccharides, but the range of degree of polymerization (DP, chain length) spanned by oligosaccharides has not been consistently defined. For example, the Me...
متن کاملEffects of full-scale substrate pretreatment with a cross-flow grinder on biogas production
The enhancement of the degradation rate of energy crops, agricultural residues and manure by different lab scale pretreatment pathways is shown in previous studies. In general, the pretreatments resulted in higher degradation efficiencies and an increase in methane yield for lignocellulosic and fibrous biomass. The major drawback of most of the different pretreatment methods is that either they...
متن کاملBiomass production and heavy metal content of Rosmarinus officinalis grown on MSW compost and cattle manure
Background & Aim: Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis L.) is an evergreen and aromatic plant that is used in pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries-health. Little research has been reported on the greenhouse production of this plant. This paper presents the effects of municipal solid waste compost (MSWC) and cattle manure on rosemary growth in pots at greenhouse. Martial & Methods: Munic...
