Abstract Inflammation is the main key role in developing chronic diseases including cancer, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, arthritis, and neurodegenerative which possess a huge challenge for treatment. With massively compelling evidence of played by nutritional modulation preventing inflammation-related there growing interest into search natural functional foods with therapeutic preventive actions. Honey, healthy product, produced mainly two types bees: honeybee stingless bee. Since both honey distinctive phenolic flavonoid compounds, recently an intensive their biological clinical actions against inflammation-mediated diseases. This review shed light specifically on bioavailability bioaccessibility polyphenols highlight roles targeting inflammatory pathways gastrointestinal tract disorders, edema, metabolic gut microbiota.
