چکیده
Studying the evolutionary patterns of rice agronomic traits in South China and analyzing characteristics improvement can provide insights into developmental trajectory breeding guide further enhancement variety yield. In this study, widely promoted varieties core parents developed through dwarf southern region, as well landraces, were collected planted three different ecological regions. A total 18 investigated related to heading date, plant type, panicle grain yield, multiple comparisons, a correlation analysis, path analysis conducted. The results indicate that has significantly increased yield inbred indica China. However, reduction height also resulted flag leaf, shorter panicles, decreased biomass, which have led metabolic source storage capacity deficiencies limited potential. To address these limitations, breeders employed strategies such increasing leaf width, spikelet density, number primary branches, per panicle. These measures gradual increase Additionally, starting from 1980s, high-quality been pursued China, resulting slender shape reduced thousand weight. Given already weight cannot be further, enhancing effective tiller number, decreases year by year, becomes an important approach

Indica and japonica are two main subspecies of Asian cultivated rice (Oryza sativa L.) that differ clearly in morphological and agronomic traits, in physiological and biochemical characteristics and in their genomic structure. However, the proteins and genes responsible for these differences remain poorly characterized. In this study, proteomic tools, including two-dimensional electrophoresis a...

In the current study, a set of 96 recombinant inbred lines (RIL) at F8, derived from a cross between two varieties, Anbarbu (sensitive to drought stress) and Sepidroud (tolerant to drought stress) were used. The experiment was performed at Gonbad Kavous located in the Golestan province of Iran in 2010–2011 using two augmented designs at normal and stress conditions, separately. The RIL populati...

Salinity is one of the most challenging problems that adversely affects growth and development of plants. Therefore, understanding of the mechanisms that enable plants to adapt to salinity stress will ultimately help in the selection of stress tolerant cultivars for exploiting saline soils. The main objective of this study was to examine the effects of NaCl on some physiological and biochemic...
