چکیده

Hydroxybenzene, commonly known as phenol, is one of the most important organic commodity chemicals. To produce cumene process used worldwide. A crucial step in this Hock rearrangement, which has a major impact on overall consumption rate and determines safety level process. The catalyst for cleavage hydroperoxide (CHP) sulfuric acid. Besides its strong corrosive property, increases plant investment costs, it also requires neutralization after decomposition to prevent side reactions. In study, we show that high-temperature-treated Linde Type X (LTX) zeolites exhibit high activity peroxide step. addition, structure–activity relationship responsible good performance reaction system HOCK rearrangement was investigated. XRPD analyses revealed formation new phase temperature treatment above 900 °C. Si/Al ratio determined by EDX suggested extra-framework aluminum, confirmed solid-state NMR analysis. newly formed aluminum found be catalytic activity. BET showed surface area drops at higher calcination temperatures. This leads lower However, no decrease been observed. newfound material shows extraordinarily potential heterogeneous alternative acid reaction.

Pd–Zeolites as Heterogeneous Catalysts in Heck Chemistry

Heck reactions were performed with 4-bromoacetophenone and n-butyl acrylate, yielding the trans-arylated acrylate ester with high selectivity. Pd–zeolite catalysts were compared with supported Pd metal catalysts. In order to obtain an active and heterogeneous catalyst, the preformed or in situ-formed catalytically active Pd0 species and the PdII intermediates must be sufficiently stabilized on ...

Zeolites as Catalysts for Fuels Refining after Indirect Liquefaction Processes.

The use of zeolite catalysts for the refining of products from methanol synthesis and Fisher-Tropsch synthesis was reviewed. The focus was on fuels refining processes and differences in the application to indirect liquefaction products was compared to petroleum, which is often a case of managing different molecules. Processes covered were skeletal isomerisation of n-butenes, hydroisomerisation ...

Metal-Exchanged β Zeolites as Catalysts for the Conversion of Acetone to Hydrocarbons

Various metal-β zeolites have been synthesized under similar ion-exchange conditions. During the exchange process, the nature and acid strength of the used cations modified the composition and textural properties as well as the Brönsted and Lewis acidity of the final materials. Zeolites exchanged with divalent cations showed a clear decrease of their surface Brönsted acidity and an increase of ...
