چکیده
Abstract The in-situ formation of oxides on alloy surface induced by high temperature can effectively reduce wear and resist oxidation. In consideration the solid solution strengthening effect great oxidation resistance additional elements at elevated temperature, NiCrWMoCuCBFe coating was prepared velocity oxygen flame (HVOF) spraying technology, its tribological behavior scrutinized from 25 to 800 °C. By means Vickers hardness tester X-ray diffractometer, mechanical properties microstructures were measured. And performance discussed in detail. results showed both friction coefficient (0.37) rate (5.067 × 10 ?6 mm 3 ·N ?1 ·m ) °C lowest, which mainly related “glaze” layer temperature. glaze consisted two parts, NiCr 2 O 4 oxide film with ability interlaminar slip formed outer nano-grains existed inner layer. Worth mentioning, these provided bearing capability while vital coefficient. As ambient increased, many hard produced scars, including NiO, Cr , MoO Mo C. They improve a wide range.

High-temperature degradation of plasma sprayed thermal barrier coating systems
Thermal barrier coating systems (TBCs) are used in gas turbines to prevent high-temperature degradation of metallic materials in the combustor and turbine. One of the main concerns regarding TBCs is poor reliability, and accurate life prediction models are necessary in order to fully utilise the beneficial effects of TBCs. This research project aims at developing deeper understanding of the deg...
متن کاملThe Study of High Temperature Oxidation behavior of Different Microstructures of HVOF Thermally Sprayed Coatings
Improvement of thermally sprayed coating properties by microstructure modification has been considered as a significant solution. Therefore, in this research the effect of dissolved oxygen content and post heat treatment on the formation and distribution of secondary phase particles, particularly in nano-scale in the coatings during spraying and after that were studied. Ni-5 wt% Al powders were...
متن کاملNumerical modeling the bonding mechanism of HVOF sprayed particles
During high velocity oxy-fuel (HVOF) thermal spraying, most powder particles remain in solid state prior to the formation of coating. A finite element (FE) model is developed to study the impact of thermally sprayed solid particles on substrates and to establish the critical particle impact parameters needed for adequate bonding. The particles are given the properties of widely usedWC-Co powder...
متن کاملStudy of Wear Behaviour of Hvof and Cold Sprayed Coatings on Boiler Steels
In this study two commonly used steels in boiler plants, i.e. (SAE-213) T-22 and SA516 (Grade-70) were coated with different thermal spray processes namely HVOF and cold spray. The coating powder used was made up of NiCrTiCRe powder. The performance of the coated as well as uncoated material was investigated using a pin-on-disc machine [Model: Wear and Friction Monitor Tester TR-20], supplied b...
