چکیده

The paper outlines the simulation of various pulse generators for enhancement optical fiber access transmission networks within flow rate 10 Gbps and range 100 km. The are gaussian, hyperbolic secant, triangle, sine, raised cosine in stage. Proposed mixed with both electro-absorption modulator (EAM) mach-zehnder (MZM) efficient transmission. We have compared max. quality factor using proposed against nonreturn to zero (NRZ) return (RZ) previous research works different bit sequences. signal power amplitude is tested PIN photodetector time-domain visualizer RF spectrum analyzer by optimum cases sequence. It observed that generators/EAM presented an increase Q-factor value generators/MZM sequences.

Electro-optic polymers for high speed modulators
Different electro-optic polymer systems are analyzed with respect to their electro-optic activity, glass transition temperature (Tg) and photodefinable properties. The polymers tested are polysulfone (PS) and polycarbonate (PC). The electro-optic chromophore, tricyanovinylidenediphenylaminobenzene (TCVDPA),which was reported to have a highest photochemical stability [1] has been employed in the...
متن کاملPhotodefinable electro-optic polymer for high-speed modulators
Direct waveguide definition of a negative photoresist (SU8) containing tricyanovinylidenediphenylaminobenzene (TCVDPA) as electro-optic (EO) chromophore, has been demonstrated for the first time. This was possible by utilising the chromophore low absorption window in the UV region allowing crosslinking of the host polymer by exposing to UV light followed by thermal curing. TCVDPA was modified b...
متن کاملEffects of Nonlinearity and Polarization Mode Dispersion on High Bit- rate Fiber-optic Communication Links
We study the performance of a typical fiber-optic communication link operating at 10 Gbps, comprising of multiple spans of standard single mode fiber (SSMF), in-line amplifiers and dispersion compensating fibers (DCF). The effects of attenuation, chromatic dispersion, nonlinearity and polarization mode dispersion (PMD) are taken into account. By numerically solving the non-linear Schrodinger eq...
متن کاملNoise in Fiber Optic Communication Links
The physics of noise in optical communication links is of great interest in the design of fiber optic communication systems. In this report the role of noise in optical communications, and how it can limit the performance of optical communications systems, will be examined. The origins of noise in the various optical and analog electronic components will be discussed, and a methodology for a “n...
