چکیده
Abstract. Biogenic volatile organic compounds (BVOCs) emitted from the terrestrial vegetation into Earth's atmosphere play an important role in atmospheric chemical processes. Gridded information of their temporal and spatial distribution is therefore needed for proper representation composition by air quality models. Here we present three newly developed high-resolution global emission inventories main BVOC species including isoprene, monoterpenes, sesquiterpenes, methanol, acetone ethene. Monthly mean monthly averaged daily profile emissions were calculated Model Emission Gases Aerosols Nature (MEGANv2.1) driven meteorological reanalyses European Centre Medium-Range Weather Forecasts period 2000–2019. The dataset CAMS-GLOB-BIOv1.2 based on ERA-Interim meteorology (0.5? × 0.5? horizontal resolution); datasets CAMS-GLOB-BIOv3.0 v3.1 with ERA5 (both 0.25? resolution). Furthermore, isoprene potential data updated using land cover maps detailed tree factors EMEP MSC-W model system. TNO-MACC_II emission inventory; a multi-year (2003–2009) consistent high-resolution European emission inventory for air quality modelling
Emissions to air are reported by countries to EMEP. The emissions data are used for country compliance checking with EU emission ceilings and associated emission reductions. The emissions data are also necessary as input for air quality modelling. The quality of these “official” emissions varies across Europe. As alternative to these official emissions, a spatially explicit high-resolution emis...

متن کاملAir quality modelling at regional scale using WRF/Chem and a GIS based system for emission inventory in southeast Italy
Air quality simulation and forecasting is a complex problem that involves the knowledge of meteorological factors, chemical processes and emission inventories. In the real atmosphere all of these aspects are coupled in an intricate pattern, with time scales that may be much less than the scales involved only in meteorology. Another crucial point is the estimation of the emission inventory that ...
