The high efficiency of the flywheel hybrid powertrain, as well its power characteristics, can help to meet energy/power conversion needs, which may prove be promising. Moreover, powertrain reduce dependence on batteries. This paper presents EC-BERS in order capture more mechanical than rated power, and charge/discharge cycles battery. In this new energy recovery system, maximum torque obtained higher speed zone, leading two marked improvements terms improving braking efficiency. working point system changes shifts high-speed zone at speeds. Furthermore, transfer vehicle kinetic into directly same form. Only slip needs dealt with electrical form, is beneficial prolonging battery life. Two typical systems were emulated under conditions verify feature, a small prototype was designed concept.
