High-fidelity trajectory optimization for aeroassisted vehicles using variable order pseudospectral method

In this study, the problem of time-optimal reconnaissance trajectory design for aeroassisted vehicle is considered. Different from most works reported previously, we explore feasibility applying a high-order dynamic model to plan optimal flight such that gap between simulated and real system can be narrowed. A highly-constrained control containing six-degree-of-freedom dynamics established. To solve formulated planning model, pipelined optimization strategy illustrated. This approach based on variable order Radau pseudospectral method, indicating mesh grid used discretizing continuous experiences several adaption iterations. Utilization potentially smooth improve algorithm convergence ability. Numerical simulations are demonstrate some key features optimized trajectory. number comparative studies also provided verify effectiveness applied method as well model.
