چکیده

In this study, we compared the high-energy resolution X-ray fluorescence absorption near-edge structure (HERFD-XANES) and normal XANES spectra of various iron (Fe) species Fe in atmospheric aerosol samples to explore advantages K-edge HERFD-XANES for speciation aerosols using linear combination fitting (LCF) spectra. We also conducted extraction experiments validate LCF-XANES. spectra, pre-edge region showed specific structures absent XANES. produced more distinctive shoulders within each spectrum than was applied an sample (MT21-S2) collected Tokyo, Japan. Normal identified ferrihydrite, biotite, montmorillonite, whereas clearly detected goethite as a fourth component. did not distinguish between ferrihydrite LCF because their similar structures. A trend observed region, experiment result consistent with region. Thus, HERFD-XANES, particular can be powerful tool aerosols.

Probing Cu(I) in homogeneous catalysis using high-energy-resolution fluorescence-detected X-ray absorption spectroscopy.

Metal-to-ligand charge transfer excitations in Cu(I) X-ray absorption spectra are introduced as spectroscopic handles for the characterization of species in homogeneous catalytic reaction mixtures. Analysis is supported by correlation of a spectral library to calculations and to complementary spectroscopic parameters.

High energy resolution five-crystal spectrometer for high quality fluorescence and absorption measurements on an x-ray absorption spectroscopy beamline.

Fluorescence detection is classically achieved with a solid state detector (SSD) on x-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) beamlines. This kind of detection however presents some limitations related to the limited energy resolution and saturation. Crystal analyzer spectrometers (CAS) based on a Johann-type geometry have been developed to overcome these limitations. We have tested and installed suc...

High-resolution X-ray emission and X-ray absorption spectroscopy.

In this review, high-resolution X-ray emission and X-ray absorption spectroscopy will be discussed. The focus is on the 3d transition-metal systems. To understand high-resolution X-ray emission and resonant X-ray emission, it is first necessary to spend some time discussing the X-ray absorption process. Section II discusses 1s X-ray absorption, i.e., the K edges, and section III deals with 2p X...

High energy resolution off-resonant spectroscopy for x-ray absorption spectra free of self-absorption effects.

X-ray emission spectra recorded in the off-resonant regime carry information on the density of unoccupied states. It is known that by employing the Kramers-Heisenberg formalism, the high energy resolution off-resonant spectroscopy (HEROS) is equivalent to the x-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) technique and provides the same electronic state information. Moreover, in the present Letter we demo...
