چکیده
We consider regular variation for marked point processes with independent heavy-tailed marks and prove a single large heuristic: the limit measure is concentrated on cone of measures one point. then investigate successive hidden removing at most k points, k≥1, multiple phenomenon: k+1 points. show how these results imply in Skorokhod space associated risk process, connection single/multiple heuristic from (Ann. Probab. 47 (2019) 3551–3605). Finally, we provide an application to theory reinsurance model where largest claims are covered study asymptotic behavior residual risk.

The K-function for nearly regular point processes.
We propose modeling a nearly regular point pattern by a generalized Neyman-Scott process in which the offspring are Gaussian perturbations from a regular mean configuration. The mean configuration of interest is an equilateral grid, but our results can be used for any stationary regular grid. The case of uniformly distributed points is first studied as a benchmark. By considering the square of ...

متن کاملPoisson point processes: large deviation inequalities for the convex distance
An analogue of Talagrand’s convex distance for binomial and Poisson point processes is defined. A corresponding large deviation inequality is proved.
متن کاملRobustness for Point Processes
We consider robustness for estimation of point processes parameters. An influence functional measures the effect of contamination on estimators. We derive some of its properties, and use it to propose an M-estimator alternative to the MLE for the inhomogeneous Poisson process case. We also show the consistency and asymptotic normality of this estimator.
متن کاملRegular Expressions, au point
We introduce a new technique for constructing a finite state deterministic automaton from a regular expression, based on the idea of marking a suitable set of positions inside the expression, intuitively representing the possible points reached after the processing of an initial prefix of the input string. Pointed regular expressions join the elegance and the symbolic appealingness of Brzozowsk...
