Heterostructured AgCl/BN nanomaterials with high sorption capacity and photocatalytic activity

In this work, the photocatalytic activity and sorption capacity of heterogeneous structures AgCl/h-BN obtained by polyol method were studied in comparison with initial micron-sized h-BN powder. The chemical phase composition, as well surface microstructure, analyzed scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive spectroscopy, X-ray analysis, photoelectron spectroscopy. High ability AgCl/BN reaction organic dye methylene blue decomposition under ultraviolet irradiation demonstrated. Keywords: materials, photocatalysis, hexagonal boron nitride, silver chloride.
