Asymptotic analysis for Schrödinger Hamiltonians via Birkhoff-Gustavson normal form

This article reviews the Birkho -Gustavson normal form theorem (BGNF) near an equilibrium point of a quantum Hamiltonian. The BGNF process is thereafter used to investigate the spectrum of Schrödinger operators in the 1:1, 1:2 and 1:3 resonances. A computer program is proposed to compute the coe cients of the BGNF up to any order.

VLA and VLBA observations of compact radio cores in LINER galaxies Heino

A VLA survey of nearby LINER galaxies at 15 GHz has revealed the presence of a compact radio core in many sources. The cores seem to be correlated with the optical activity. Follow-up VLBA observations of the ten brightest sources confirm that these cores have brightness temperatures> 10 Kelvin, thus confirming their AGN nature.
