چکیده
Abstract The paper presents the results of experiments on measuring heat transfer in laminar-wave films R114/R21 refrigerant mixture flowing down a vertical plate (70 × 80 mm). were carried out saturation line at pressure 2 bar. To enhance transfer, porous copper coating with flat layer thickness 400 μm and porosity 45% was applied to heat-transfer surface by 3D printing. effectiveness application technique used for enhancement is demonstrated: an increase boiling coefficient obtained up three times comparison reference smooth surface, as well two-fold evaporation regime. Based experimental analysis research data other authors, geometric structure promising multiscale enhancing proposed further research.

Analysis of pool boiling heat transfer over porous surfaces
A semi-empirical model for pool boiling over porous surfaces is presented. The pressure drop across the porous surface is estimated using Darcy 's law. The signi®cance of the latent heat ̄ux contribution for highly porous surfaces is examined. Two nucleation factors are de®ned and correlated in terms of measurable quantities using literature data. An expression for the total heat ̄ux in terms o...
متن کاملPhysics of microstructures enhancement of thin film evaporation heat transfer in microchannels flow boiling
Performance enhancement of the two-phase flow boiling heat transfer process in microchannels through implementation of surface micro- and nanostructures has gained substantial interest in recent years. However, the reported results range widely from a decline to improvements in performance depending on the test conditions and fluid properties, without a consensus on the physical mechanisms resp...
متن کاملA review on boiling heat transfer enhancement with nanofluids
There has been increasing interest of late in nanofluid boiling and its use in heat transfer enhancement. This article covers recent advances in the last decade by researchers in both pool boiling and convective boiling applications, with nanofluids as the working fluid. The available data in the literature is reviewed in terms of enhancements, and degradations in the nucleate boiling heat tran...
متن کاملPool Boiling Heat Transfer Enhancement Through Nanostructures on Silicon Microchannels
Uniform silicon nanowires (SiNW) were successfully fabricated on the top, bottom, and sidewall surfaces of silicon microchannels by using a two-step electroless etching process. Different microchannel patterns with the channel width from 100 to 300 lm were first fabricated in a 10 mm 10 mm silicon chip and then covered by SiNW with an average height of 10–20 lm. The effects of the microchannel ...
متن کاملExperimental Investigation in Pool Boiling Heat Transfer of Pure/Binary Mixtures and Heat Transfer Correlations
Nucleate pool boiling heat transfer coefficient have been experimentally measured on a horizontal rod heater for various liquid binary mixtures. Measurements are based on more than three hundred data points on a wide range of concentrations and heat fluxes. In this investigation, it has been confirmed that the heat transfer coefficient in boiling solutions are regularly less than those in p...
