Abstract The heat transfer characteristics of the collector tube is one cores a linear Fresnel reflector-solar thermal power generation system (LFR-CSP). In this paper, model reflective single-tube compound parabolic (CPC) established. light normal operating conditions during day, it found that direct irradiation (DNI) and loop length exert significant effects on collection loss performance reflector. With increase DNI unit length, outlet temperature capacity significantly. Because DNI, higher than loss. However, per increases correspondingly with in efficiency decreases. Ambient wind velocity are not main factors affecting reflector under prerequisite good vacuum degree tube.
