Heart Sound Signal Analysis for Digital Auscultation

Cardiac auscultation is the examination of heart by listening to sound produced through a stethoscope. Heart sounds can provide information about functioning valve condition as well structural abnormalities heart. However, it needs intensive training for mastering. The objective work was develop an algorithm signal classification applied computer-assisted digital in order identify pathological events. method be described follow: data collection, pre-processing, segmentation, feature extraction, and classification. were collected from volunteers using electronic stethoscope database available internet. then extracted split into training, validation, testing datasets. In process dataset labeled normal abnormal (aortic stenosis, mitral aortic regurgitation, pulmonic tricuspid flow murmur, patent ductus arteriosus). convolution neural network used classifier learning obtain model. model validated tested experimental results show that has capability classify with high detection rate.
