چکیده
Abstract Background The physiological phenomenon of variation in relation to the time interval between two consecutive heartbeats is described as heart rate variability (HRV). Any increase HRV associated with good fitness and health vice versa. aim this study find compare HRV, sympathetic parasympathetic nervous system dominance gym-goers, sedentary individuals. Methodology A cross-sectional was conducted among 10 gym-goers individuals, aged 18–22 years. determined by elite (mobile application) Kubios software. Outcome measure Result median values LF/HF(Low Frequency/High Frequency) ratio for Gym goers 57.5 & 1.85 whereas a individual 54.5 2.6. Conclusion This concluded that age-matched individuals have more SNS than gym-goers. Likewise, PNS higher but it not statistically significant ( p > 0.05).

Illicit Drug Use Among Gym-Goers: a Cross-sectional Study of Gym-Goers in Sweden
BACKGROUND The use of anabolic-androgenic steroids has increased among gym-goers, and it has been proposed that this may be part of a polysubstance use pattern that includes the use of illicit drugs. Still, epidemiological data on illicit drug use among gym-goers of both genders are meager. The aim of the present study was thus to examine the use of illicit drugs and its correlates in a large s...
متن کاملCharacterization of heart rate variability and baroreflex sensitivity in sedentary individuals and male athletes
Introduction: The capacity to vary the heart rate represents important physiologic role in the daily life. The variations of the RR intervals is dependent of biological modulators as the autonomic nervous system. Those variations constitute the heart rate variability (HRV). Methods: 10 athletes (Atl) and 10 sedentary (Sed) male individuals (20-35 age) were submitted to digital electrocardiograp...
متن کاملRelative influence of age, resting heart rate and sedentary life style in short-term analysis of heart rate variability.
In order to assess the relative influence of age, resting heart rate (HR) and sedentary life style, heart rate variability (HRV) was studied in two different groups. The young group (YG) consisted of 9 sedentary subjects aged 15 to 20 years (YG-S) and of 9 nonsedentary volunteers (YG-NS) also aged 15 to 20. The elderly sedentary group (ESG) consisted of 16 sedentary subjects aged 39 to 82 years...
متن کاملHeart rate variability biofeedback: effects of age on heart rate variability, baroreflex gain, and asthma.
OBJECTIVES To present additional analysis of data from a previously published study showing that biofeedback training to increase heart rate variability (HRV) can be an effective component in asthma treatment. HRV and intervention-related changes in HRV are negatively correlated with age. Here we assess the effects of age on biofeedback effects for asthma. DESIGN Ten sessions of HRV biofeedba...
متن کاملتغییرپذیری ضربان قلب Heart rate variability))
Abstract Many studies have been conducted on heart rate variability. Variability in the heart signal of two sequential beats is called heart rate variability (HRV). Short- and long- term variability reflects autonomic nervous system function, so that increased or decreased heart rate variability (HRV) is an indicator of human health. So, the analysis of these changes can predict sudden death...
