Health Inequalities in Italy: Comparing Prevention, Community Health Services, and Hospital Assistance in Different Regions

چکیده
Regions are likely to face health care and aging problems (as well as other socioeconomic challenges) by adopting different measures strategies that may lead further differentiation in provision the long run. In short term, essential levels of assistance/care (livelli essenziali di assistenza [LEA]) assessment grid shows how regional performance three areas sector (prevention, community services, hospital assistance) proceed at speeds. Contrary expectations, north-south divide is not only territorial exists. Strong differences exist even among regions north-east, north-west, center Italy. The results depict a four-speed ranking LEA performance.
