Healing of periapical lesion after root canal treatment: A case report
نویسندگان
چکیده
Most of periapical lesions usually result from microbial infection with oral microorganisms originating the degenerated pulp tissue. These are commonly painless and incidentally found on routine radiographic examinations. Treating these cases using non-surgical root canal is fruit innovative techniques, tools medicaments as well tendency toward minimally invasive treatment. The healing process infected area conditioned by a proper diagnosis, treatment that follows good clinical practice under aseptic environment including cleaning, shaping filing. aim present case report was to lesion endodontic origin associated maxillary left central incisor, observed over period 2 years.

Maxillary molar healing after treatment of an uninstrumented canal with a novel root canal procedure: a case report
A major cause for endodontic failure is the inability to treat all anatomy. Studies report endodontic retreatments contain 42% missed canals. This case illustrates dentin preservation of a molar with an uninstrumented mesiobuccal-3 canal revealed post-GentleWave Procedure. Efficient cleaning and disinfection with maintained healing to 18 months is demonstrated.
متن کاملRoot Canal Treatment of a Geminated Maxillary Lateral Incisor: A Case Report
Dental anomaly in number, size, and shape might occur during dental bud morphodifferentiation stage. Gemination and fusion are the most common anomalies. Gemination exhibits two joined crowns and usually a single root. This case report presents a geminated maxillary lateral incisor in a 15-year-old female admitted with symptoms of irreversible pulpitis and normal apical tissues. Clinical examin...

This article presents non-surgical resolution of an extensive periapical lesion of endodontic origin associated with the maxillary left lateral incisor. Clinical examination revealed an asymptomatic bony hard swelling confined to the palate, while radiographic analysis showed a lesion measuring 22 mm in diameter and nearly 389 mm(2) in area. Through apical patency, 4 ml of intracanal exudate wa...
متن کاملMicrobial distribution in the root canal system after periapical lesion induction using different methods.
The aim of this study was to evaluate the microbial distribution in the root canal system after periapical lesion induction in dogs' teeth using different methods. Fifty-two root canals were assigned to 4 groups (n=13). Groups I and II: root canals were exposed to the oral cavity for 180 days; groups III and IV: root canals were exposed for 7 days and then the coronal openings were sealed for 5...
متن کاملPeriapical repair after root canal filling with different root canal sealers.
The aim of this study was to evaluate periapical repair after root canal filling with different endodontic sealers. Sixty-four root canals from dog s teeth were filled, divided into 4 groups (n=16). Root canals were instrumented with K-type files and irrigated with 1% sodium hypochlorite solution. Root canals were filled in the same session by active lateral condensation of the cones and sealer...
