Head injury patients at a tertiary health care center

Background: Head injury is a significant reason for high dreariness and mortality, especially in youthful useful age bunch patients. As per the World Health Organization report on street security, road traffic accidents (RTAs) would be fifth driving death worldwide constantly 2030. Larger part of head wounds are ramifications auto collisions (RTAs), falls, attacks, or wounds, happening either work environment, during sport, so forth. Present study was aimed to patients with coming our tertiary care center.Methods: prospective, observational type, conducted who were admitted under department surgery period.Results: After applying inclusion exclusion criteria, total 230 considered present study. 57% from 21-50 years group. Male female ratio 2.6:1. RTAs (63%) most common cause followed by assaults (20%) fall height (10%). 63% had mild injury, while 21% 16% moderate severe respectively. Total 17% deaths noted Outcome worsens worsening severity injury.Conclusions: Trauma remains leading Necessary preventive measures vigorous training all medico para-medico staff early management can definitively reduce mortality morbidity due injury.
