Hazard Evaluation of Indoor Air Quality in Bank Offices

نویسندگان

چکیده

IAQ is a crucial factor affecting the health, comfort, and productivity of workers, particularly those working in enclosed spaces like bank offices. This study aimed to evaluate office’s operational area vault by analyzing concentrations CO2, TVOC, PM10, PM2.5, as well temperature, relative humidity, air movement. Two different ventilation systems were compared assess their impact on IAQ. The acquired data statistically analyzed using mean comparison t-tests hazard ratio analysis. results revealed that indoor PM2.5 CO2 significantly contribute total ratio, indicating need reduce levels below reference values. also found system affects quality, are considerable. Significantly, offices with split unit air-conditioners had highest levels, poor ventilation. Overall, reveals building, activities, have profound influence parameters, primarily CO2. Further research required formulate strategies for enhancing these settings.

Achieving 'excellent' indoor air quality in commercial offices equipped with air-handling unit--respirable suspended particulate.

UNLABELLED A study was carried out to investigate the feasibility of achieving ultra low respirable suspended particulates (RSP) in commercial offices without major modification of existing ventilation systems by enhancing the particulates removal efficiency of existing central ventilation systems. Four types of filters which include pre-filters, cartridge filters, bag filters and high efficien...

Screening for Indoor Air Quality Express Assessment Protocol of Air-conditioned Offices

A successful Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) surveillance plan is essential for healthy and safe workplaces; yet it is costly to sample all air pollutants of the entire community. In Hong Kong, a voluntary IAQ certification scheme for workplaces proposes the acceptable concentration levels of nine common indoor air pollutants, namely carbon dioxide (CO2), carbon monoxide (CO), respirable suspended par...

Indoor air microbiological evaluation of offices, hospitals, industries, and shopping centers.

In this study it was compared the MAS-100 and the Andersen air samplers' performances and a similar trend in both instruments was observed. It was also evaluated the microbial contamination levels in 3060 samples of offices, hospitals, industries, and shopping centers, in the period of 1998 to 2002, in Rio de Janeiro city. Considering each environment, 94.3 to 99.4% of the samples were the allo...

Indoor Air Quality

The issues of indoor air quality are complex and can be directly influenced by a number of system and building parameters. There are no universal solutions for every problem since there are numerous potential contaminant sources. They may originate from indoors and have a direct impact on indoor environmental quality, or they may originate from outdoors and be transferred by a mechanical or nat...
