Hardness analysis of remineralization primary teeth enamel after the application gel of duck eggshell extract (anas platyrhynchos domesticus) with consentration 20% and 40% in vitro

Background : Children are a population that has high potential to be exposed caries. Calcium deficiency due demineralization of the enamel can cause decrease in hardness during caries pathway. It anticipated with application re-mineralizing materials. Duck eggshells contain amount calcium. This research aimed examine effect duck eggshell extract gel (Anas plathyrhynchos domesticus) on primary teeth. Methods is an experimental laboratory type using pre and post-test control group design. There were 3 treatment groups 4 samples each group, which consisted concentration 20% 40%, casein phosphopeptide-amorphous calcium phosphate (CPP-ACP) paste. Sample was carried out 42 times 14-day intervals. Then sample measured vickers microhardness tester. The data processed by Paired T-Test, Kruskal-Wallis, Post Hoc Mann-Whitney statistical tests. Results showed there significant differences before after (p<0.05). Significant also found three experienced highest increase group. Conclusion effective increasing tooth
