HAKİKATİN ÖNEMSİZLEŞTİĞİ ÇAĞDA BELGESEL FOTOĞRAF: ‘POST-TRUTH’ VE ‘POST-DOC’ KAVRAMLARINI BİR ARADA DÜŞÜNMEK

Görüntülerin dijital teknoloji kullanılarak üretildiği ve ‘hakikatin önemsizleştiği’ bir çağda, varlık amacı ‘hakikati açığa çıkarmak’ olan belgesel fotoğrafın nasıl konumlandığını tespit etmeyi amaçlayan bu çalışmada, modernizm sonrası fotoğrafta ‘gerçeklik’ tartışmaları ekseninde sahip olduğu yeni kavrayışları okumak terk edilen geleneksel yaklaşımın yerini alan ‘post-doc’ fotoğraf pratiğinin izini sürerek bugünkü işlevini sorgulamak hedeflenmektedir. ‘Hakikatin önemsizleştiği yerde hala midir?’ sorusunu takip ederek gerçekleştirilen incelemede, kurgunun hakikate içkin hale geldiği gerçeklik anlayışının ortaya çıktığı, felsefesini üzerine kuran post-doc insanları etkilemek için gücü’ yerine kendi kurmaca gerçekliğini kullandığı görülmüştür. Bu bağlamda günümüzde ‘gerçek’ten değil gerçeğin kendisinden daha güçlü olduğunu iddia ettiği inşa edilmiş versiyonundan güç alarak var olmaya devam anlaşılmıştır.
