H3K4me3 CUT&Tag and Transcriptome Analysis Reveal the Epigenetic Regulatory Landscape in Gill Tissue of Large Yellow Croaker (Larimichthys crocea) Under Low Salinity Stress

H3K4me3 is an important histone modification that could influence DNA replication and RNA translation in response to abiotic stress. Here, RNA-seq analyses were conducted gill tissues of large yellow croaker identify the function under low salinity Additionally, CUT&Tag performed genome-wide dynamic changes explore mechanisms by which regulates gene expression. A total 201 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) identified between 5‰ group (S-group) 25‰ normal (C-group), among 23 DEGs (11 up-regulated targets 12 down-regulated targets) directly regulated H3K4me3. Our findings thus describe epigenetic regulatory landscape during stress, provide novel insights into regulation mediating responses aquatic animals
