چکیده
The purpose of this study was to determine the growth, yield and potential for carbondioxide absorption dayak onion plants given four types manure on peat soil. This experiment used a completely randomized design with treatments six replications. tried were chicken, swallow, cow, goat manure. results showed that type had an effect plant growth yield. height number leaves planted soil cow grew significantly higher more leaves, lowest found in fed swallow highest obtained fertilized 30 t ha-1 tuber weight 41.50 g clump-1, larger diameter, but tubers by diameter smaller. biomass, stored carbon dioxide 6.6; 3.3 12.11

Effect of deficit irrigation on crop growth, yield and quality of onion in subsurface drip irrigation
Indiahas the largest area under onion (Allium cepa) crop but its average productivity (14.21 t ha-1) is considerably lower than the world’s average of 19.4 t ha-1. Besides low productivity, irrigation efficiencies are also very low i.e. 30-35% in India. Managing onion crop with less than adequate irrigation water availability is a challenge in several parts of the country. Options of i) deficit...
متن کاملInfluence of Substitution of Peat with Iranian Zeolite(Clinoptilolite) In Peat Medium on Ficus Benjamina Growth
This experiment was designed to characterize the effects of size and concentration of an Iranian clinoptilolite zeolite on the growth ofFicus benjamina (starlight) in peat base media. Ficus benjamina was stock rooted and grown in a peat consisting perlite (2: 1 v/v) (P: Pe), zeolite (10, 20, 30 and 40 v/v %, two sizes 0.5-3 mm and 3-8 mm) instead of peat in P: Pe (2: 1 v/v) media. Ficus benjami...
متن کاملEffect of cropping system and peat amendment on strawberry growth and yield
Comparative studies have usually shown higher yields in conventional cropping systems (CCS) than in organic cropping systems (OCS). By utilizing a long-term field experiment on silt soil with 18 years of cropping history (1982–1999), including three OCSs and one CCS, we studied if this is true also for strawberry. The strawberry experiment was conducted in 2000–2002. The experiment had one CCS ...
متن کاملSpatial Variation and Correlation Between Electric Conductivity (EM38) and CO2 Emissions from a Cultivated Peat Soil
Approximately 15 percent of Sweden’s land area is covered by peat ( 30 cm deep). In drained peatlands, decomposition of the peat produces greenhouse gases such as CO2 and N2O. Electric conductivity, measured with the instrument EM38, can be used to assess spatial variation in soil properties. To easier decide the quantity of the CO2-emissions from a peatland the possible relation between electr...
