چکیده
Fish farming including freshwater crayfish still has a dependency on the availability of fish meal as main source protein in feed. The purpose this study was to evaluate alternative sources poultry by-products, feather meal, lupine flour, soybean and meat, bone for smooth marron (Cherax cainii) A total 150 juvenile marrons (9.09 ± 0.21 g) were kept 90 days distributed into 15 rearing tanks consisting five treatments with three replications. results indicated that there no significant difference increase biomass, survival rate, moulting rate (weight), feed efficiency ratio, digestibility (P> 0.05). However, fed by-products had highest specific growth (0.31 0.05 g / day). In addition, resulted carapace length (P <0.05). Based test, it found level ranged from 76.39 0.01 - 79.11 0.01% replacement effect dry matter Overall, indicate general performance is not affected by Alternative materials can be used replace so use reduced.

To determine the effects of dietary organic selenium (OS) supplementation on the growth performance and immune competence of marron, Cherax cainii (Austin, 2002), a group of marron were fed 0.2 g kg(-1) of Sel-Plex(®) supplemented basal diet and then compared with another group (control) of marron fed basal diet without any supplementation. After 90 days of feeding, final weight, average weekly...

Six experiments (EXP) were conducted to evaluate growth performance of different breed crosses of broiler chicks fed diets containing soybean meal, soy protein isolate (SPI), soy protein concentrate (SPC), or rice and casein. Cornish x Plymouth Rock (C x PR; EXP 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6) or New Hampshire x Columbian (NH x C; EXP 2 and 4) cross chicks were used. The chicks were fed a corn-soybean meal ...
متن کاملEffect of Dietary Protein Sources on Lamb’s Performance: A Review
Protein and energy are the two major components of feed that influence performance of the growing and fattening lambs. Provision of the quality of protein in the lamb’s diet does not only improve the animal performance but also ensures profitable animal production. Different vegetable protein sources are used to formulate the rations for growing and fattening lambs. These protein sources differ...
