Growth Performance and Digestive Enzyme Activity of Broiler Fed with Microwaved Flaxseed Flour (Linum usitatissimum)

This research aimed to evaluate the effect of use microwaved flaxseed flour as broiler feed on growth performance and digestive enzyme activity. The material used was 200 a-day-old chicks strain Lohmann MB Platinum. method this in vivo feeding trial using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments 4 replications. included levels 0% (T0), 2.5% (T1), 5% (T2), 7.5% (T3), 10% (T4). variables measured were intake, body weight gain, conversion ratio, mortality, amylase, protease data obtained analyzed by Analysis Variance (ANOVA) Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT). result showed that highly significant (p<0.01) increasing amylase activity decreasing activity, but had no mortality. It can be concluded up did not give negative broiler, best compared other treatments.
