Growth Management Effectiveness: A Literature Review

چکیده
Although growth management programs have many purposes, a critical one is to contain urban and suburban sprawl. Their efficacy in this regard not well understood. In paper, we review comprehensive set of tools, used by planners policymakers curb sprawl, starting with the history tool, then describing how it works practice, finally presenting any available empirical evidence on sprawl and/or achieve other public purposes. While isn't panacea for controlling certainly failure implied critics.
