Green synthesis of mesoporous 2D Mn2O3/rGO nanocomposite for effective removal of methyl orange

Abstract Green synthesis of di-manganese trioxide mesoporous structure (super nano porous) sheets (Mn2O3-rGO-NS), Graphene oxide (GO) and Mn2O3-rGO-NS composite (Mn2O3-rGO-NS) were prepared via Thermal decomposition, seconds timescale water electrolytic oxidation sonication method respectively. The samples characterized X-ray diffraction, FESEM, TEM , FTIR. Average crystallite size was found about 38 26 nm for Mn2O3-NS Mn2O3-rGO-NS, Mn2O3-rGO–NPs morphology reveal porous within average 35 in pores diameter thickness act distributed on between graphene creating macro pores. obtained results showed that the characteristics α-Mn2O3-rGO-NS improved by addition rGO sheets. Methyl orange (MO) dye adsorption onto investigated at various parameters, including pH, adsorbent quantity, time. It discovered behavior complies with intra-particle diffusion model Friedendlich isotherm. aqueous media may be eliminated 99.3% composite.
