چکیده
A sustainable supply of pure water is a great challenge in most developing and third-world countries. Nanomaterial-based technology offers technological development for wastewater purification. Nanocatalysis hydrogenation nitroarene dye molecules hot model many research fields. Herein, we report eco-friendly facile to synthesize Ag-Au bimetallic nanocomposites. The synthesized nanocomposites are characterized by ultraviolet–visible spectroscopy, Fourier-transform infrared X-ray diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscopy high-resolution transmission microscopy. nanocomposite can efficiently degrade Congo red 4-nitrophenol the presence sodium borohydride. results show that it degrades entirely within 6 7 min, respectively. These could be useful green synthesis help remove organic nitroaromatics from wastewater.

متن کاملGreen Approach to Synthesis of Pt and Bimetallic Au@Pt Nanoparticles Using Carica Papaya Leaf Extract and Their Characterization
This study reports a green approach to synthesis of monometallic platinum nanoparticles (Pt NPs) and bimetallic aurium@platinum nanoparticles (Au@Pt) using aqueous leaf extract of Carica papaya as a reducing and stabilizing agent. The nature and morphology of as-synthesized PtNPs and bimetallic Au@Pt NPs were characterized using UV/vis spectroscopy (UV–vis), high resolution transmission electro...
متن کاملSynthesis of Au-Pd Bimetallic Nanoflowers for Catalytic Reduction of 4-Nitrophenol
Due to the great potential to improve catalytic performance, gold (Au) and palladium (Pd) bimetallic catalysts have prompted structure-controlled synthesis of Au-Pd nanoalloys bounded by high-index facets. In this work, we prepared Au-Pd bimetallic nanoflowers (NFs) with a uniform size, well-defined dendritic morphology, and homogeneous alloy structure in an aqueous solution by seed-mediated sy...
متن کاملHazelnut shell as a valuable bio-waste support for green synthesis of Ag NPs using Origanum vulgare leaf extract: Catalytic activity for reduction of methyl orange and Congo red
In this work the Origanum vulgare leaf extract was used to green synthesis of Ag nanoparticles (NPs) supported on Hazelnut shell as an environmentally benign support. The Ag NPs/Hazelnut shell as an effective catalyst was prepared through reduction of Ag+ ions using Origanum vulgare leaf extract as the reducing and capping agent and Ag NPs immobilization on Hazelnut shell surface in ...
