چکیده

Today, green energy is a new key feature of the sectors in developed and dynamically developing economies. It can stimulate development small medium-sized businesses, greatly impacts on nature conservation generates strong technological impulse. Canada known as one countries with highly considered to use most its resources efficiently. Russia possesses significant reserves natural has high potential field production; however, share balance not high. The authors have compared terms climatic conditions, financial situation, for social attitudes towards energy, demonstrated similarity two countries. Having conducted regression analysis production, further analyzed regional by comparing prices proved that cheaper Canada. A novel absorptive/reflective solar concentrator for heat and electricity generation: An optical and thermal analysis

The crossed compound parabolic concentrator (CCPC) is one of the most efficient non-imaging solar concentrators used as a stationary solar concentrator or as a second stage solar concentrator. In this study, the CCPC is modified to demonstrate for the first time a new generation of solar concentrators working simultaneously as an electricity generator and thermal collector. The CCPC is designed...

The ‘2 C capital stock’ for electricity generation: Committed cumulative carbon emissions from the electricity generation sector and the transition to a green economy

This paper defines the ‘2 C capital stock’ as the global stock of infrastructure which, if operated to the end of its normal economic life, implies global mean temperature increases of 2 C or more (with 50% probability). Using IPCC carbon budgets and the IPCC’s AR5 scenario database, and assuming future emissions from other sectors are compatible with a 2 C pathway, we calculate that the 2 C ca...
