چکیده
Graphene-based nanomaterials (GBMs), such as graphene oxide (GO) and reduced (rGO), possess unique properties triggering high expectations for the development of new technological applications are forecasted to be produced at industrial-scale. This raises question potential adverse outcomes on living organisms especially toward microorganisms constituting basis trophic chain in ecosystems. However, investigations GBMs toxicity were performed various using single species that helpful determine mechanisms but fail predict consequences observed effects a larger organization scale. Thus, this study focuses ecotoxicological assessment GO rGO biofilm composed diatom Nitzschia palea associated bacterial consortium. After 48 144 h exposure these 0, 0.1, 1, 10 mg.L −1 , their physiology, structure, metabolism communities measured through use flow cytometry, 16S amplicon sequencing, Biolog ecoplates, respectively. The both stimulated growth. Besides, exerted strong growth inhibition from 1 influenced taxonomic composition diatom-associated consortium, increased transiently activity related carbon cycling, with weak diatom. On contrary, was shown exert weaker whereas it more strongly physiology. When compared results literature tests, our suggests diatoms benefited diatom-bacteria interactions able maintain or recover its carbon-related metabolic activities when exposed GBMs.

Biofilms of natural anaerobic microbial consortia externally grown on Gas Diffusion Electrodes (GDL) in a bioreactor, were investigated within a MembraneElectrode-Assembly with respect to lifetime and electricity production upon variation of biodegradable materials with an oxygen demand of 1000mg/l as simulated waste water. A remarkable differentiation and plasticity of the films is observed, t...

Extreme habitats are not only limited to natural environments, but also apply to man-made systems, for instance household appliances such as dishwashers. Limiting factors, such as high temperatures, high and low pH, high NaCl concentrations, presence of detergents and shear force from water during washing cycles define the microbial survival in this extreme system. Fungal and bacterial diversit...
