چکیده
Abstract Golovinomyces longipes is a widespread powdery mildew on Solanaceae ( Nicotiana , Petunia and Solanum spp.). In the past, it has been reported only once Verbena Verbenaceae ), non-solanaceaous host. Recently, this found composite Matricaria chamomilla . The identification of species unusual host proved by morphological studies DNA sequence analysis. Both datasets coincide with characteristic data for G. First inoculation experiments further composites resulted in an infection Brachyscome hybrid ‘Surdaisy’. To our knowledge, first report lonigpes hosts belonging to important family Asteraceae additional proof broader range beyond

Effect of mechanical weeding on wild chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla L.) populations in winter wheat crop (Triticum aestivum L.).
Currently, economic, agronomic and environmental concerns lead to reduce the use of herbicides. Mechanical weeding can help to reach this objective. Dynamics and biology of wild chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla L.) populations were assessed as well as dynamic of winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) for four level of application of a weeder-harrow (0, 1, 2, 3 treatment(s)). After each treatment, ...

Reduction in herbage production and plant diversity on rangelands on the coastal part of croatia, due to invasion of terpene-rich shrubs has been recorded during the recent period. therefore, there is a strong need to understand ecological relationships between plant and animal components of these shrubby ecosystems. through four consecutive experiments, we investigated the potential of two wel...

The chemical composition of Matricaria chamomilla L. and Nepeta cataria L. essential oils was determined by GC-MS on an apolar stationary phase by comparison of the characteristic fragmentation patterns with those of the Wiley 275L database. The GC-MS chromatograms were compared with those obtained by fast GC equipped with a direct resistively heated column (Ultra Fast Module 5% phenyl, 5 mx 0....
متن کاملDetermination of the Antioxidant Activity and Stability of Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla L.) Extract in Sunflower Oil
Antioxidants prevent the reaction of free radicals with biomolecules and can promote the nutritional values and physiological properties of foodstuffs. There are synthetic and natural kinds of antioxidants and nowadays there is a trend to replace the natural kinds instead of the synthetic kinds. Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla L. ) is a well known and valuable medicinal plants that is used wid...
متن کاملEFFECT OF GAMMA RAY AND ELECTRON BEAM IRRADIATION ON THE PHYSICOCHEMICAL AND SENSORIAL PROPERTIES OF CHAMOMILE (Matricaria chamomilla L.)
The present study was carried out on dried chamomile powder to compare yield of extraction, physicochemical characteristics and sensorial properties of extracts obtained from samples irradiated by gamma ray (GR) and electron beam (EB) at 10 kGy and 20 kGy. The results of the present study showed that radiation treatment with 10 kGy and 20 kGy of GR and EB did not affect significantly the yield ...
