Gold Cementation in Percolation Mode Using Dendritic Zinc Powders

نویسندگان

چکیده

Present article is devoted to study of electrolytic zinc powders usage features in gold mining industry. Electrolytic characterized by dendritic shape and a high specific surface area. These provide number advantages for cementation from alkaline cyanide solutions. Dendritic form powder makes it possible reduce layer hydraulic resistance on filtering surface, which important when using technologies based filtration gold-bearing solution through layer. High area favourably affects the rates recovery solutions, shown experiments model real (industrial)

Water Flooding Performance Evaluation Using Percolation Theory

Water flooding is a well-known secondary mechanism for improving oil recovery. Conventional approach to evaluate the performance of a water flooding process (e.g. breakthrough and post breakthrough behavior) is to establish a reliable geological reservoir model, upscale it, and then perform flow simulations. To evaluate the uncertainty in the breakthrough time or post breakthrough behavior, thi...

Synthesis and Characterization of Hexagonal Shaped Nanocrystalline Zinc Oxide Powders

Nanocrystalline ZnO powders are synthesized using a quick, simple and inexpensive combustion method. Glycine and zinc nitrate, used as fuel and oxidant/cation sources respectively, were mixed together at room temperature to form a slurry or gel. A series of experiments were performed to synthesize nanoparticles for different fuel to oxidant ratios. The rate of heating and stirring greatly influ...

Enhanced densification of zinc powders through thermal cycling

The densification of zinc powders by uniaxial hot pressing is investigated under both isothermal and thermal cycling conditions. Thermal cycling results in enhanced densification kinetics as compared to isothermal compaction at the upper cycle temperature. Using mechanistic models of initial-stage powder densification, the experimental data are analyzed to reveal the creep stress-exponent and a...

Invasion Percolation in Presence of Gravity

Simultaneous capillary dominated displacement of the wetting and non-wetting phases are processes of interest in many disciplines including modeling of the penetration of polluting liquids in hydrology or the secondary migration in petroleum reservoir engineering. Percolation models and in particular invasion percolation is well suited to characterize the slow immiscible displaceme...
