چکیده

The utilization of global navigation satellite system (GNSS) signals for remote sensing has been a hot topic recently. In this article, the feasibility GNSS-based passive inverse synthetic aperture radar (P-ISAR) is analyzed. P-ISAR can generate two-dimensional image moving target, providing an estimation target size, which very important information in recognition. An effective imaging algorithm proposed. First, precise direct path interference (DPI) suppression method derived to eliminate DPI power detection channel. Then, signal processing established. Due large time, Doppler profile ISAR will defocus if directly performing Fourier transform. As solution, parametric autofocusing and cross-range scaling specially tailored P-ISAR. proposed cannot only focus scale image, but also provide velocity target. Simulation with airplane designed test method. Finally, experiment conducted civil as GPS satellites illumination source. Focused successfully acquired. estimated length are approximately consistent ground truth, obtained by flight record. potential on multistatic operations illustrated fusion images using different sources.

Passive Bistatic SAR with GNSS Transmitter and A Stationary Receiver

Space-Surface Bistatic Synthetic Aperture Radar (SS-BSAR) is a sub-class of BSAR, where the transmitter can be any satellite and the receiver could be mounted on an aircraft, a land vehicle or stationary on the ground. If stationary receiver is applied, the synthetic aperture is fully attributed to the moving of satellite. Such a kind of geometry is suited for ground deformation monitoring. Our...

Multi-Static Passive SAR Imaging Based on Bayesian Compressive Sensing

Passive radar systems, which utilize broadcast and navigation signals as sources of opportunity, have attracted significant interests in recent years due to their low cost, covertness, and the availability of different illuminator sources. In this paper, we propose a novel method for synthetic aperture imaging in multi-static passive radar systems based on a group sparse Bayesian learning techn...

Performance Analysis of Convex LRMR based Passive SAR Imaging

Passive synthetic aperture radar (SAR) uses existing signals of opportunity such as communication and broadcasting signals. In our prior work, we have developed a low-rank matrix recovery (LRMR) method that can reconstruct scenes with extended and densely distributed point targets, overcoming shortcomings of conventional methods [1]. The approach is based on correlating two sets of bistatic mea...

Microwave Imaging Using SAR

Polarimetric Synthetic Aperture Radar (Pol.-SAR) allows us to implement the recognition and classification of radar targets. This article investigates the arrangement of scatterers by SAR data and proposes a new Look-up Table of Region (LTR). This look-up table is based on the combination of (entropy H/Anisotropy A) and (Anisotropy A/scattering mechanism α), which has not been reported up now. ...
