چکیده

Glycogen synthase kinase 3 (GSK3) is a vital multifunctional molecule that widely distributed in invertebrates and vertebrates. GSK3 highly conserved serine/threonine (Ser/Thr) protein kinase, which plays an important role insulin, Wnt, various signaling pathways. In this study, gene were identified the genome of Pacific white shrimp, Litopenaeus vannamei , analyzed its structure, phylogeny, expression profiles. The deduced LvGSK3 contains Ser/Thr catalytic (S_TKc) domain, exhibited high different early developmental stages, most adult tissues, premolting stages. RNA interference significantly retarded increment body weight affected expressions molting-related genes compared with control groups. These results will improve our understanding structure functions show potential applications shrimp growth.

Microbiota from Litopenaeus vannamei: digestive tract microbial community of Pacific white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei)

Bacteria capable of producing different extracellular enzymes of potential relevance in digestive processes were isolated from the stomach, hepatopancreas and intestine of Pacific white shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei. A total of 64 strains with proteolytic activity were isolated and grouped into 16 clusters based on morphological characteristics: 4 groups were isolated from the intestine; 5 from t...

Cuticular chitin synthase and chitinase mRNA of whiteleg shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei during the molting cycle

Cuticular chitin synthase and chitinase mRNA of whiteleg shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei during the molting cycle a b s t r a c t a r t i c l e i n f o Chitin metabolism is of high relevance for shrimp growth because it has to be synthesized and cleaved in each molt. We studied chitin synthase and chitinase mRNAs from whiteleg shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei. For this, cDNA coding for cuticular chitin ...

Gene set based association analyses for the WSSV resistance of Pacific white shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei

White Spot Syndrome Virus (WSSV) is regarded as a virus with the strongest pathogenicity to shrimp. For the threshold trait such as disease resistance, marker assisted selection (MAS) was considered to be a more effective approach. In the present study, association analyses of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) located in a set of immune related genes were conducted to identify markers asso...

Lysozyme gene expression by hemocytes of Pacific white shrimp, Litopenaeus vannamei, after injection with Vibrio.

The purpose of this study was to quantify the gene expression of lysozyme, an important antibacterial protein produced by shrimp hemocytes, within tissues of Litopenaeus vannamei Boone in response to a pathogen challenge. We quantified lysozyme transcripts with a real-time PCR method and used these data, along with total hemocyte counts, to infer patterns of hemocyte trafficking during the immu...

Short communication. SNP analyses of the 5HT1R and STAT genes in Pacific white shrimp, Litopenaeus vannamei

Shrimp aquaculture is one of the growing animal industries. Breeding stocks with high disease-resistance and growth rate are of particular interest to shrimp breeders. Association studies are useful to find genetic markers for marker assisted selection of animals. Using six Litopenaeus vannamei individuals from a sample population, four single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) were found in the 5...
