Global properties of an age-structured virus model with saturated antibody-immune response, multi-target cells, and general incidence rate

چکیده

Some viruses, such as human immunodeficiency virus, can infect several types of cell populations. The age infection also affect the dynamics infected cells and production viral particles. In this work, we study a virus model with infection-age different target which takes into account saturation effect in antibody immune response general non-linear rate. We construct suitable Lyapunov functionals to show that global is completely determined by two critical values: basic reproduction number reproductive response.

Stability and Bifurcation of an SIS Epidemic Model with Saturated Incidence Rate and Treatment Function

In this paper an SIS epidemic model with saturated incidence rate and treatment func- tion is proposed and studied. The existence of all feasible equilibrium points is discussed. The local stability conditions of the disease free equilibrium point and endemic equilibrium point are established with the help of basic reproduction number. However the global stabili- ty conditions of these eq...

Global Stability of Delayed Viral Infection Models with Nonlinear Antibody and CTL Immune Responses and General Incidence Rate

The dynamical behaviors for a five-dimensional viral infection model with three delays which describes the interactions of antibody, cytotoxic T-lymphocyte (CTL) immune responses, and nonlinear incidence rate are investigated. The threshold values for viral infection, antibody response, CTL immune response, CTL immune competition, and antibody competition, respectively, are established. Under c...

Global Stability of an HIV-1 Infection Model with General Incidence Rate and Distributed Delays

In this work an HIV-1 infection model with nonlinear incidence rate and distributed intracellular delays and with humoral immunity is investigated. The disease transmission function is assumed to be governed by general incidence rate f(T, V)V. The intracellular delays describe the time between viral entry into a target cell and the production of new virus particles and the time between infectio...

Global properties of a tuberculosis model with lost sight and multi-compartment of latents

A  tuberculosis (TB) model with  lost sight  and multiple latent classes  is considered and studied. We derive the basic reproduction ratio $mathcal R_0$. There is always a globally asymptotically stable equilibrium state. Depending on the value of   $mathcal{R}_0$, this state can be either endemic ($mathcal{R}_0> 1$), or infection-free ($mathcal{R}_0leq 1$). The global asymptotic stability of ...

Global Analysis of Age-structured Within-host Virus Model

A mathematical model of a within-host viral infection with explicit age-since-infection structure for infected cells is presented. A global analysis of the model is conducted. It is shown that when the basic reproductive number falls below unity, the infection dies out. On the contrary, when the basic reproductive number exceeds unity, there exists a unique positive equilibrium that attracts al...
