Contemporary scholarship concerning science diplomacy is increasingly taking a historical approach. In our introduction to this special issue, we argue that approach promises insight into because of the tools historians bring their work. particular, observe not only are currently poised chart diplomatic aspects involved in transnational circulation technoscientific knowledge, materials, and expertise.
