چکیده

In this paper, we study a time-periodic model, which incorporates seasonality and host stage-structure. This model describes the propagation of Puumala hantavirus within bank vole population Clethrionomys glareolus. The basic reproduction number R0 is obtained. By appealing to theory monotone dynamical systems chain transitive sets, establish threshold-type result on global dynamics in terms R0, that is, virus-free periodic solution globally attractive, virus dies out if ≤ 1, while there exists unique positive solution, persists > 1. Numerical simulations are given confirm our theoretical results show cleaning environment controlling grow mice essential control strategies reduce infection.

Dynamical behavior of a stage structured prey-predator model

In this paper, a new stage structured prey-predator model with linear functional response is proposed and studied. The stages for prey have been considered. The proposed mathematical model consists of three nonlinear ordinary differential equations to describe the interaction among juvenile prey, adult prey and predator populations. The model is analyzed by using linear stability analysis to ob...

Global dynamics in a stage-structured discrete-time population model with harvesting.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the effect of constant effort harvesting upon global dynamics of a discrete-time population model with juvenile and adult stages. We consider different scenarios, including adult-only mortality, juvenile-only mortality, and equal mortality of juveniles and adults. In addition to analytical study of equilibria of the system, we analyze global dynamics by m...

Global stability of an age-structured virus dynamics model with Beddington-DeAngelis infection function.

In this paper, we study an age-structured virus dynamics model with Beddington-DeAngelis infection function. An explicit formula for the basic reproductive number R0 of the model is obtained. We investigate the global behavior of the model in terms of R0: if R0 ≤ 1, then the infection-free equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable, whereas if R0 > 1, then the infection equilibrium is global...

Dynamics of a Stage-Structured Leslie-Gower Predator-Prey Model

A generalized version of the Leslie-Gower predator-prey model that incorporates the prey population structure is introduced. Our results show that the inclusion of age structure in the prey population does not alter the qualitative dynamics of the model; that is, we identify sufficient conditions for the “trapping” of the dynamics in a biological compact set—albeit the analysis is a bit more ch...

Global Stability for a Stage-structured Predator-prey Model

The asymptotic behavior of a stage-structured predator-prey system is studied using the theory of finite dimensional competitive systems. Using natural conditions on the persistency constant for prey and on the reproduction rate of the mature predators, it is found that the system under consideration has a unique positive equilibrium, which is globally asymptotically stable. Some considerations...
