Glandular odontogenic cyst in mandible: A case report and literature review

چکیده

A glandular odontogenic cyst (GOC), a rare type of occurring in the jawbone, comprises about 0.2 % all cases. Recurrence is likely, thus long-term follow-up examinations are necessary. The present patient was 24-year-old Japanese female with multilocular GOC that extirpated following marsupialization. Two years after initial extirpation, recurred and re-extirpation performed, no recurrence noted at two second procedure. Although extirpation marsupialization can cause recurrence, it allows for preservation teeth area lesion maintenance occlusion. case report includes comparison reports Japan those reported other countries.
