Give me a Vote: How Nepalese Mayoral Candidates Perform Speech Acts on Facebook?

Background: Social media, particularly at the time of election, are frequently used by politicians for communication with their voters. Among different social Facebook is most popular media in Nepal. Objectives: In this context, paper has analyzed how eighteen mayoral candidates Local Election-2022 from six Metropolises Nepal have performed illocutionary speech acts while communicating voters through posts on Facebook.
