GINGIVAL FIBROMATOSIS WITH HEARING LOSS: A JONES SYNDROME CASE REPORT

Introduction: Hereditary Gingival Enlargement (HGF), a rare entity, is also known as familial elephantiasis, elephantiasis gingivae, diffuse fibromatosis. It benign, non-haemorrhagic fibrous enlargement of gingival tissue. frequently component feature many syndromes. Jones syndrome one such syndrome, characterized by overgrowth and progressive deafness.
 Case report: A 27-year-old male patient reported to the Department Oral Medicine Radiology with chief complaint swollen gums for past 7 years. The complained bleeding on brushing. medical history stated concurrent gradual hearing loss years back. An incisional biopsy was done confirm nature diagnosis.
 Conclusion: This reporting unique case that remained undiagnosed almost decade. emphasises need multidisciplinary approach during diagnosis treatment.
