Giftedness and ADHD: A systematic literature review

The purpose of this study was to examine the scientific production empirical articles regarding twice exceptionality – giftedness/ADHD through a systematic review. search carried out in Portal de Periódicos Capes, SciELO, and PePSIC databases, considering publications between 2011 2021. terms giftedness, high abilities, ADHD, exceptionality, their counterparts Portuguese were used as descriptors. We selected 27 based on pre-established inclusion criteria. Six categories studies identified: socio-emotional factors, interpersonal relationships, identification, inattention hyperactivity, intelligence quotient, educational support practices. conclusion that by having individual needs met school community support, gifted students with ADHD can academically succeed, have positive self-concept good relationships.
