چکیده
Following numerous biotechnological innovations, a variety of agricultural by-products can now be employed as low-cost substrates for the production secondary metabolites, such antibiotics, phytohormones, biofuels, pesticides, and organic acids. As an example, gibberellin (GA) growth phytohormones obtained by means, wherein gibberellic acid (GA3) is great interest worldwide in sector. The central aspect this research therefore focused on bioconversion by-products, corn cob, to obtain GA3 phytohormone via solid-state fermentation (SSF) with Aspergillus niger. chemical characterization material showed that cob possessed glucose, mannose, arabinose, lignin contents 34, 26, 8, 16%, respectively. Our results also indicated appreciable carbon content (47%), addition mineral elements nitrogen (4%), potassium (1.2%), iron (0.03%), sodium (0.01%), calcium (0.06%), Al (0.02%). SSF 11 d presence A. niger at pH 5, 30°C, 24% sample consistency, >6.1 g·kg−1 was obtained. This value higher than those previously reported different food industry, coffee husk, wheat bran, cassava, pea pods, sorghum straw (i.e., 0.25–5.5 g·kg−1) following SSF. from residues not only contributes reducing negative impact but represents new source key raw production, thereby contributing development processes convert into biologically active compounds commercial interest.

Central composite orthogonal design was applied to quantify relations of xylanase production, loss of dry matter and change of pH with four critical variables during solid state fermentation of a mixture of wheat bran and wheat straw on which Aspergillus niger CCUG 33991 was cultivated. The studied variables included the percentage of wheat straw, temperature, moisture content, and fermentati...

متن کاملSolid State Fermentation for Production of Chitosan by Aspergillus Niger
The effect of Solid State Fermentation (SSF) on Chitosan production by A. niger was investigated. A. niger BBRC 20004 from Biochemical and Bioenvironmental Research Centre of Sharif University of Technology (Tehran, Iran), was grown on corn residue. Chitosan was extracted from the fungal mycelia using hot alkaline and acid treatment. A. niger was incubated for 12 days on corn residue with moist...

Fungi isolated from various rotten fruits and vegetables were screened for the capability of producing citric acid. Aspergillus niger (A. niger) was obtained in the decayed onion peels and denoted as KON13 and this fungi strain was used in the production of citric acid by submerged fermentation. Critical process parameters affecting the fermentative citric acid production were investigated, inc...
