GGE BIPLOT ANALYSIS FOR ZINC QUALITY AND YIELD STABILITY OF EXOTIC MAIZE HYBRIDS

Zinc deficiency is one of the major causes malnutrition in communities due to consumption zinc-deficient staple food. With accessibility and affordability, biofortification an agricultural intervention beneficial for all stakeholders involved as any actor. A total 16 exotic zinc biofortified maize hybrids developed at different research stations CIMMYT got introduced evaluated across three separate locations growing areas Punjab Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), i.e., Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Nowshera. The decision introduce zinc-enriched germplasm Pakistan, collaboration with CIMMYT, Mexico, came from findings a related work—evaluation diverse indigenous germplasm; however, none entry qualified suggested standard, 33 mg/kg zinc.
