چکیده

The study of lightweight block ciphers has been a “hot topic”. As one the main structures ciphers, Feistel structure attracted much attention. However, traditional cipher changes only half plaintext in an iterative round, resulting slow diffusion. Therefore, more encryption rounds are required to ensure security. To address this issue, new algorithm, GFRX, is proposed, which combines generalized and ARX (Addition or AND, Rotation, XOR). GFRX algorithm uses with different non-linear components deal all branches so that it can achieve better diffusion effect fewer rounds. results security analysis show effective differential attacks do not exceed 19 linear 13 adequate level for analysis. Avalanche test obtained strong takes six meet avalanche effect. In addition, serialization levels depending on hardware resource requirements full serialization, ensures operational flexibility resource-constrained environments.

LBlock: A Lightweight Block Cipher

In this paper, we propose a new lightweight block cipher called LBlock. Similar to many other lightweight block ciphers, the block size of LBlock is 64-bit and the key size is 80-bit. Our security evaluation shows that LBlock can achieve enough security margin against known attacks, such as differential cryptanalysis, linear cryptanalysis, impossible differential cryptanalysis and related-key a...

FeW: A Lightweight Block Cipher

In this paper, we propose a new lightweight block cipher called FeW 1 which encrypts 64-bit plaintext using key size 80/128 bits and produces 64-bit ciphertext. FeW is a software oriented design with the aim of achieving high efficiency in software based environments. We use a mix of Feistel and generalised Feistel structures (referred as Feistel-M structure hereinafter) to enhance the security...

Survey on Lightweight Block Cipher

183  Abstract— With the rapid advances in wireless networks low-end devices, such as RFID tags, wireless sensor nodes are deployed in increasing numbers each and every day. Such devices are used in many applications and environments, leading to an ever increasing need to provide security. When choosing security algorithms for resource-limited devices the implementation cost should be taken int...

HIGHT: A New Block Cipher Suitable for Low-Resource Device

In this paper, we propose a new block cipher HIGHT with 64-bit block length and 128-bit key length. It provides low-resource hardware implementation, which is proper to ubiquitous computing device such as a sensor in USN or a RFID tag. HIGHT does not only consist of simple operations to be ultra-light but also has enough security as a good encryption algorithm. Our hardware implementation of HI...

WG-8: A Lightweight Stream Cipher for Resource-Constrained Smart Devices

Lightweight cryptographic primitives are essential for securing pervasive embedded devices like RFID tags, smart cards, and wireless sensor nodes. In this paper, we present a lightweight stream cipher WG-8, which is tailored from the well-known Welch-Gong (WG) stream cipher family, for resource-constrained devices. WG-8 inherits the good randomness and cryptographic properties of the WG stream ...
